At Shawyers, we’re committed to providing our clients with well-maintained, practical, and safe outdoor spaces. As part of our ongoing improvement programme, we’re delighted to share details of our latest project at Maffey Court, Botley, Southampton.
What’s Happening
We’re carrying out works to supply and install 16 new storage sheds for residents at Maffey Court. These will be Cottage Overlap Apex sheds, designed without windows for added security and useful and secure space for residents to store garden tools, bikes, and other belongings.
Site Preparation and Groundworks
Before the sheds were installed, the existing area is being upgraded to ensure a safe, level, and long-lasting base. The works include:
- Extending the base to accommodate all 16 sheds.
- Removing old slabs from the smaller existing base and constructing tarmac extension, all finished at one level for easy access.
- Refitting small boundary fencing along the full 12m length to keep the area secure and neatly contained. Supporting Residents and Enhancing Communities
This project is part of our client’s continued investment in maintaining and enhancing communal facilities across their housing estates. Providing secure and practical storage options helps residents keep shared spaces tidy, improves the overall look of our neighbourhoods, and supports the community.
